Install & Care

Fit notes and install help for 3D-printed detailing organizers.

JohnnyTools support is built around practical fit checks, straightforward install steps, and material expectations for printed detailing and garage organization parts.

Fit guidance should be visible before anyone joins the launch list.

Use the actual part, bottle, bucket, drawer, or wall in front of you. Brand names help, but dimensions and shape matter more for 3D-printed detailing organizers.

Bottle Mount

Check bottle body width and shoulder shape. It is built around common 16 oz and 32 oz detailing bottles, not heavy jugs.

JT-DD-BR-001

Brush Rail

Use for detailing brushes and light wash tools. Keep heavy hand tools on a stronger storage system.

JT-DD-BC-001

Bucket Caddy

Bucket rim shape matters. Test the part empty before loading brushes, towels, or accessories.

Labels and Tags

Confirm wording, quantity, mounting style, and approximate size before custom label work starts.

Install

Short steps for mounted and clip-on parts.

  1. 01

    Dry fit the part.

Hold the part where it will live. Check reach, clearance, and whether the surface makes sense for the load.

  2. 02

    Mark carefully.

For mounted parts, mark holes with the part level and supported. For clip-on parts, check the rim shape first.

  3. 03

    Use the right fastener approach.

Match screws, anchors, or mounting method to the actual wall, cabinet, shelf, or bench surface.

  4. 04

    Tighten until snug.

Stop when the part is secure. Overtightening can damage printed parts or distort the fit.

Materials and Care

Printed parts are tough when they are used for the right job.

PETG is the default JohnnyTools material. ASA is used when heat and sun exposure matter more.

Clean Use mild soap and water, then dry the part before reloading.
Avoid Harsh solvents, overtightening, abuse, and loads outside the intended use.
Inspect Stop using a part if it looks cracked, warped, loose, or unexpectedly stressed.
Ask Email a photo when a surface, bucket rim, or fit feels unusual.

Quick Answers

Common launch support questions.

Can I buy directly from this site?

Not yet. JohnnyTools is keeping the launch flow honest with launch-list and product-update requests until real buying links are ready.

What should I send for a fit question?

Send the product name, one photo of the setup, and one useful measurement. For buckets, include the rim shape.

Are printed parts safe for heavy tools?

Use each part for its stated job. Brush rails and bucket caddies are for light wash-bay gear, not heavy hand tools.

Do you make custom labels?

Yes. Short-run drawer tags, bin labels, shelf IDs, and nameplates are part of the launch plan.
